Contemporary ArtCade was an exploration into mechanisms by creating an arcade game that worked purely mechanically.

By cranking a shaft, the user is able to create an artpiece (arguable). Time delay mechanisms (below) designed for some of the interactions allows them to run corresponding to music that is simultaneously playing.
